What is WP Benchmark?
WP Benchmark is designed to test the performance of the server environment running WordPress.
Rather than simply loading a finished webpage, the benchmark tests areas of the hosting environment such as CPU, memory, filesystem and database performance.
This makes it useful for comparing the underlying performance of different WordPress hosting environments.
How did Web Host Wizards score 9.7?
Our Australian WordPress hosting environment is built around modern hardware and a performance-focused WordPress stack.

What does this actually tell us?
A benchmark isn't the same thing as testing a real website.
Your WordPress site's performance also depends on its theme, plugins, images, database, caching configuration and how the site itself has been built.
What the benchmark does give us is a useful way to compare the underlying hosting environments under the same test.
And in this test, Web Host Wizards recorded a 9.7/10 score.
