These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Web Host Wizards website, located at 'webhostwizards.com.au' and 'portal.webhostwizards.com.au'.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Web Host Wizards if you do not agree to abide by all the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, and Disclaimer Notice, as well as all Agreements: “Client”, “You”, and “Your” refer to you, the person accessing this website and complying with the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our”, and “Us” refer to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us” refer to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to the prevailing law of Australia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or he/she or they are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.
We may update our Terms and Conditions at any time. By continuing to use our services or allowing your subscription to renew, you agree to the most recent version of our Terms and Conditions, available at https://webhostwizards.com.au/terms-conditions/.
- For ongoing subscriptions, payment will be attempted 1–3 days before renewal.
- WordPress hosting (Apprentice, Sorcery, Mastery, Wizardry) payments are due within 48 hours of the due date. VPS/Dedicated hosting payments are due within 48 hours of the due date.
- Invoices are sent 30-14 days before annual renewal, 14 days before bi-annual renewal, and 7 days before monthly renewal.
- If payment isn’t received by the due date, we may suspend the service until full payment is made.
- Non-payment may result in suspension of services, including hosting, DNS management, security, and related infrastructure.
- Accounts unpaid 7 days after the invoice due date may have all website and server data deleted.
- Web Host Wizards is not obligated to provide data for suspended or terminated services, though a full backup may be available for $200.
- To cancel, submit notice 3 days before your next billing date via the customer portal or support ticket.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the due date. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure subscriptions are cancelled before the renewal date if the service is no longer required.
- If billed for a subscription you no longer want, we may offer account credit for future hosting or domain services at our discretion. Credit refunds do not apply in all cases, especially for renewals of active services.
- Refunds are only issued if the hosting service is unavailable for 48+ consecutive hours due to a proven issue on our infrastructure, with no resolution or workaround provided.
- Minor interruptions, customer misconfiguration, or failure to use the service do not qualify for a refund.
- All services, including domain names, renew at the price in effect at the time of renewal.
- Prices may change at any time due to supplier, registry, infrastructure, or operational cost increases.
- Renewal invoices are issued prior to the renewal date. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the renewal price before payment.
- Continued use of the service or payment of a renewal invoice constitutes acceptance of the renewal pricing.
- Some services are billed through automatic subscriptions using third-party payment providers such as PayPal or Stripe.
- Subscriptions may be cancelled through the Web Host Wizards customer portal, support ticket, or directly within the payment provider account.
- Web Host Wizards is not responsible for renewal charges that occur because a subscription was not cancelled before the billing date.
Support is available through the customer portal ticketing system.
Active customers must submit all support requests via the ticket system to ensure proper tracking and handling. Please do not use the contact form on the main website for support enquiries.
Your WordPress websites are your responsibility.
Web Host Wizards will not be held accountable for any changes made to your website by the customer that result in broken links, downtime or other issues.
Please make use of the backup and/or staging functions in the control panel before making any changes to your website. This way, you can easily revert to a previous version if needed.
Please note that WordPress development, as well as plugin and theme support, is not included in our standard hosting plans and will incur additional costs. While our support team may assist at their discretion, this is not guaranteed.
Note: Our main service is WordPress hosting
The email service is free, included with your hosting plan.
While the email services are fully functional for sending and receiving, they are not enterprise platforms like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
Please note: Connecting your emails to third party applications like Gmail or the iPhone Mail app is outside our included support scope. We will do our best to assist with any issues, but we cannot guarantee resolution.
Web Host Wizards offers daily cloud backups. Each backup is retained for up to 30 days*.
Backup storage does not count towards the customer’s plan usage.
While we take reasonable measures to maintain reliable backups, Web Host Wizards will not be held responsible for any consequential damages to the customer’s website(s) or business, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, lost sales, or lost emails.
Web Host Wizards will always attempt to restore data from available backups; however, restoration may not be successful in all cases, including where data is corrupted or incomplete. In such instances, Web Host Wizards accepts no liability.
Customers are solely responsible for maintaining their own independent backups of all website and email data.
Backups, exports, and data access provided by Web Host Wizards are not guaranteed to meet any specific legal, compliance, forensic, or third-party requirements. Requests for specialised data exports, migrations, or handling beyond standard service scope may incur additional fees.
Managed hosting includes regular WordPress maintenance and updates.
We encourage you, as the business and website owner, to understand how the website works, as we do not manage every aspect of the website, only the software updates and web server maintenance.
If you are a managed customer with a website package (web design, development, and hosting included), we use a suite of plugins to enhance your site’s performance, security, and functionality, including anti-spam, caching, speed optimization, and more.
These plugins remain active while your site is hosted with us. If you choose to migrate your website away from our hosting, these plugins will be deactivated, and any associated functionality may no longer be available.
By registering or using a domain with Web Host Wizards, you authorise us to manage domain nameservers and DNS services on your behalf. DNS services may be provided using third-party platforms such as Cloudflare.
Customers retain the ability to manage DNS records through the Web Host Wizards control panel; however, direct access to third-party DNS provider accounts is not guaranteed. Certain DNS records required for hosting, security, or service operation may be restricted or managed by Web Host Wizards.
We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Web Host Wizards, you agree to use cookies in accordance with Web Host Wizards’ Privacy Policy.
Most interactive websites use cookies to retrieve the user’s details for each visit. Cookies are used by our website to enable the functionality of certain areas and make it easier for visitors to navigate our website. Some of our affiliate/advertising partners may also use cookies.
Unless otherwise stated, Web Host Wizards and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Web Host Wizards. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this content from Web Host Wizards for your own personal use, subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas. Web Host Wizards does not filter, edit, publish, or review Comments before they appear on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Web Host Wizards, its agents, or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts them.
